About Us

Friends of Sabeel-Colorado is . . . a member of Sabeel International, working in the US to support the vision of Sabeel.

Sabeel—Voice of the Palestinian Christians

Sabeel is an international peace movement, committed to nonviolence, initiated by Palestinian Christians in Jerusalem who seek a just peace as defined by international law and existing United Nations resolutions. Sabeel is an Arabic word that means “the way” and “spring of water.” The Most Rev. Archbishop Desmond Tutu from South Africa is the International Patron of Sabeel.

Friends of Sabeel-Colorado is affiliated with Friends of Sabeel-North America (www.fosna.org) and Sabeel in Jerusalem (www.sabeel.org). Our mission is to increase awareness of Palestinian struggles and to advocate for a just and lasting peace based on human rights and international law.
