There are currently 5.3 million Palestinian refugees registered with the UN. They have had refugee status for 70 years and are scattered in 58 refugee camps in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, the Palestinian Authority of the West Bank and Gaza. How can this be? We will take an in-depth look at the realities on the ground and what life for permanent refugees is like in each host country. We will also discuss the factors that have kept these millions in permanent refugee status for over three generations.
